Sunshine and Nachos at Jericho Beach

When the sun finally comes out in Van, one of my favorite things to do is head to Jericho Beach.  It’s rarely warm enough to swim, but it’s always nice to sit on the patio at The Galley and eat nachos!  For $16, you get 18 inches of pure, gooey, nacho-ey goodness that simply must be shared with friends.  It’s the perfect place to soak up the sun and enjoy a spectacular view of beautiful Vancouver.

Libby and Lynn’s Recommendation for Cute Clothes!

We went to the Barefoot Contessa on 3715 Main Street this weekend. They have a Commercial Drive location too.
It is the cutest store we’ve ever seen!
If you love fashion, this is the store for you!

We had so much fun trying on clothes. One of the best parts is that if the staff likes your fashion, you get 15% off! We got a great deal.

Lovely outfits for warm weather.

The summer dresses were especially wonderful.

Flowers and Fun

Here is our first Libby and Lynn Vancouver Recommendation!

Recently my mom and I checked out Queen Elizabeth Park and the Bloedel Floral Conservatory. We wanted to recommend this beautiful park to anyone who loves the outdoors and sightseeing, or just nature in general.

It’s a nice walk up the hill to Queen Elizabeth Park. Right now the park has beautiful flowers everywhere you look! The view of the city is fantastic, too. You can see all the way to North Van.

After walking in the garden we went into the conservatory. It’s so cheap – less than 6$ to go in! It’s small, but really beautiful and educational. We met lots of colourful birds too. It was a really great memory.
